Role Description The Sr. 3D Generalist (specialized in product advertisement) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end 3D production pipeline for product-focused campaigns, including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, and basic compositing. The role involves close collaboration with art directors, creative leads, and clients to interpret briefs, develop visual concepts, and deliver high-quality, photoreal product visuals and animations. The Sr. 3D Generalist will review and refine assets, optimize scenes for performance, maintain consistency with brand guidelines, and mentor junior artists to uphold studio standards. The role also includes troubleshooting technical issues, contributing to workflow improvements, and staying current with industry tools and trends.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in core 3D generalist skills, including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering for product-focused visuals.
Experience with industry-standard 3D and VFX software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini) and rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, Octane).
Solid understanding of composition, color theory, materials, and real-world lighting to achieve photorealistic product advertisement output.
Ability to handle animation basics for product shots, camera work, and motion design, plus familiarity with compositing tools (e.g., Nuke, After Effects).
Demonstrated experience creating high-quality assets for advertising, marketing campaigns, or commercial product spots.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to give and receive constructive feedback and mentor junior team members.
Relevant degree or diploma in Animation, VFX, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; a portfolio or showreel showcasing product-focused work is required.
