About the Role:
The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort across the property. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong attention to detail, and the ability to train and motivate the housekeeping team while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet brand standards.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff for efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house spaces.
• Plan staff rosters and allocate duties to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, inventory, and budgets.
• Ensure proper laundry operations and linen management.
• Maintain strong coordination with Front Office and Maintenance teams.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Implement SOPs for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
• Focus on cost control without compromising on service quality.
• Drive staff motivation, discipline, and team-building initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduate/diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in hotels, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Eye for detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to manage costs and resources efficiently.
