Job Purpose
We are seeking a high-caliber, sharp-witted Social Media Manager to spearhead the digital narrative, brand positioning, and rapid-response mechanics for high-profile political leaders and electoral campaigns. This is not a standard corporate brand management role; it requires an intense, 24/7 understanding of public sentiment, political risk management, and the ability to convert complex policy stances into hyper-viral digital content.
🚨 Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Elite Political Pedigree: The candidate must have a proven track record of directly managing the verified social media profiles of prominent political leaders (MPs, MLAs, Ministers, or Party State Chiefs) OR must have worked with a renowned national political management group (e.g., I-PAC, Nation with NaMo, Polstrat, Leadtech, Rajneethi, etc.).
Location & Availability: This is a strictly on-site position in Mohali. Given the volatile and fast-paced nature of political cycles, the candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and high-stakes election nights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Narrative Building & Profile Management
Own and manage end-to-end organic and paid digital footprints across X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp ecosystems.
Collaborate with in-house design, video editing and content teams to produce rapid-response multimedia content (Reels, Shorts, Infographics, Memes, and Regional Dialect content).
2. Crisis Management & Counter-Narrative Factory
Continuously track regional media landscapes to identify emerging negative campaigns or opposition attacks.
Deploy instant, structured counter-narratives to neutralize political misinformation within tight, critical windows.
3. Micro-Targeting & Ad Strategy
Formulate precise demographic and geographic ad-targeting strategies to influence specific voter segments (youth, farmers, women, urban professionals) across Punjab’s distinct regions (Malwa, Majha, Doaba).
Technical Skillset & Tool Proficiency
Social Listening & Sentiment Analysis: Proficiency in platforms to track real-time public opinion shifts and track keyword trends.
Political Micro-Targeting & Meta Ads: Advanced execution capabilities on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Centre.
Broadcast & WhatsApp Network Architecture: Expertise in managing decentralized, booth-level messaging networks via WhatsApp Business API platforms or political mass-engagement tools.
AI Integration & Fact-Checking: Familiarity with verifying content via Deepfake/Metadata detection tools and utilizing AI productivity tools securely within the boundaries of Election Commission guidelines (maintaining proper AI-generated content disclosures).
Key Qualifications
Language Skills: Conversational fluency in Punjabi is critical to capturing local idioms, cultural context, and regional nuances, paired with professional command over written English and Hindi.
