Avisa Smart Hospitals Group is an integrated healthcare and health-technology organisation connecting hospitals, clinics, doctors, diagnostic laboratories, pharmacies, ambulances and home healthcare through advanced digital solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer who can independently develop, manage and optimise dynamic, secure and high-performing websites across the Group and its associated brands.
Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive, dynamic and user-friendly websites.
Handle both front-end and back-end website development.
Build database-driven websites, portals, dashboards and landing pages.
Develop and customise WordPress websites, themes and plugins.
Write clean, secure and efficient PHP code.
Convert Figma, Adobe XD or other design files into functional websites.
Develop reusable components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
Integrate APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, forms and third-party applications.
Manage databases, user authentication, role-based access and CMS functionality.
Optimise website speed, mobile responsiveness and Core Web Vitals.
Implement technical SEO, structured data, analytics and conversion tracking.
Manage hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, staging and production environments.
Maintain website security, backups and protection against malware and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot website, server, database, plugin and compatibility issues.
Conduct regular testing, debugging, updates and performance optimisation.
Maintain source-code repositories and technical documentation.
Collaborate remotely with marketing, design, content and management teams.
Manage multiple Group websites and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
Required Technical Skills
Strong front-end and back-end web development experience.
Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap and responsive development.
Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
Proven experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, custom themes and plugin development.
Experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with Laravel, Node.js or similar back-end technologies.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of Git, GitHub or other version-control platforms.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with cPanel, DNS, CDN, cloud hosting and website deployment.
Knowledge of website security, backups, data protection and recovery procedures.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and technical SEO.
Ability to work with the latest development tools, libraries, scripts and AI-assisted coding platforms.
Candidate Profile
Minimum three years of relevant web development experience preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating dynamic websites, WordPress projects and custom development.
Ability to independently manage the complete development lifecycle—from planning and coding to testing, deployment and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
Good communication, time-management and remote-working skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Previous experience in healthcare, hospital, SaaS or e-commerce projects will be an advantage.
