Location: Remote
Focus: Creative static websites, custom templates, and end-to-end website launches
About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative Website Designer who can conceptualize, design, build, and launch innovative static websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, typography, layout, and user experience, with the ability to turn ideas into distinctive, professional websites.
You should be able to independently manage the complete website process—from initial concepts and custom template creation to responsive implementation and publishing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop visually compelling static websites, landing pages, and microsites.
Create original website concepts, custom templates, reusable page layouts, and design components.
Prepare wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma before implementation.
Translate approved designs into functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or suitable website-building tools.
Create and optimize website graphics, banners, icons, and visual assets using Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, and related tools.
Ensure websites look and function consistently across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Incorporate purposeful animations, transitions, and interactive elements that enhance the website experience.
Handle website publishing, domain connection, hosting setup, and SSL configuration.
Check page speed, navigation, links, browser compatibility, and visual consistency before launch.
Update website content, refine existing designs, and maintain organized design files and reusable templates.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Canva.
Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for building responsive static websites.
Strong understanding of typography, color combinations, spacing, visual hierarchy, and UI/UX principles.
Ability to create original designs and templates from a brief.
Experience taking websites from concept through to a live launch.
Understanding of image optimization, basic on-page SEO, accessibility, and website performance.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote role.
Clear communication skills and openness to design feedback.
Ideal Candidate

Based in India and available to work remotely.
