Job Title: Factory Manager (Project Execution)
Job Location: Panvel, Navi Mumbai
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring compliance with contract scope, client specifications, and agreed requirements while delivering projects within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, cash-flow, invoicing, and cost-control targets.
Manage assembly line/project execution and operations, with hands-on oversight of shop-floor activities and sub-contractors.
Coordinate and oversee fabrication and quality activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory, regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements throughout project execution.
Identify and promptly report/escalate technical, operational, quality, or execution-related issues to the respective Discipline Head for timely resolution.
Coordinate closely with clients, internal departments, cross-functional teams, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure timely actions, deliveries, and project completion.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships, address customer complaints, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Prepare regular project progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Follow and adhere to ISO Quality Management System requirements.
Handle any other project-related responsibilities assigned by the HOD.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferably.
Proven experience as a Plant Project Lead/Plant Project Manager, preferably in Water Treatment projects.
Hands-on experience in project execution, shop-floor/assembly operations, fabrication, and sub-contractor management.
Preferred understanding of water treatment processes and technologies.
Knowledge of quality, statutory, regulatory, and legal compliance.
Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
