Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Viral Script Writer role based in Bengaluru. The Viral Script Writer will develop high-impact, short-form and long-form scripts for social media, video campaigns, and other digital channels with a focus on shareability and audience engagement. Day-to-day tasks include ideating content concepts, researching trends and audience behavior, writing scripts aligned with brand voice, and collaborating with designers, video producers, and marketing strategists. The role involves testing different content formats, optimizing scripts based on performance data, and adapting ideas quickly to capitalize on emerging trends. The Viral Script Writer will also participate in brainstorms, contribute to content calendars, and maintain consistency in messaging across platforms.
Qualifications
Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills for digital and social media content, with the ability to craft engaging hooks and clear narratives.
Experience in content ideation, audience research, and trend analysis to create viral-ready concepts and formats.
Proficiency in editing and refining scripts for clarity, tone, and impact, including revising based on feedback and performance insights.
Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including social media platforms, content performance metrics, and engagement strategies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, production, and marketing teams, and to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent command of written English and strong communication skills; familiarity with Indian digital culture and social media landscape is a plus.
Previous experience in content creation, copywriting, or scriptwriting for brands, agencies, or media companies is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
