Job Summary
The Site Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading all supply chain activities at the manufacturing site, including planning, procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer fulfillment. The role ensures uninterrupted production, optimal inventory levels, and on-time delivery through strong planning disciplines, effective SAP utilization, and operational excellence.
The incumbent will lead demand planning, SIOP, material planning, inventory optimization, and warehouse management while ensuring plans align with production capacity, tooling condition, and customer requirements. This role reports to the Regional Supply Chain Head.
Main Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning & Operations
Lead site supply chain activities including planning, procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
Drive demand planning, MRP, supply planning, and SIOP processes to ensure material availability and production continuity.
Ensure inventory planning considers tooling condition, maintenance schedules, capacity constraints, and customer demand.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to support production schedules and NPI activities.
Monitor planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
Lead warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material movement, shipping, and cycle counting.
Drive inventory accuracy, inventory optimization, and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory.
Ensure effective material flow, traceability, and adherence to inventory control best practices.
SAP & Process Excellence
Drive effective utilization of SAP for planning, inventory management, MRP, warehouse operations, and reporting.
Ensure accuracy of SAP master data, inventory transactions, and planning parameters.
Implement process improvements to enhance visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
Procurement & Supplier Management
Support sourcing strategies and supplier management to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply.
Work with suppliers to improve delivery performance, quality, and supply continuity.
Leadership & Compliance
Lead and develop the site supply chain team.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ethical business practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline.
15+ years of Supply Chain Management experience in automotive manufacturing with hands-on exposure to stamping and molding.
Strong experience in demand planning, supply planning, SIOP, MRP, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Hands-on SAP experience with strong understanding of planning and inventory processes.
Experience supporting tooling-intensive manufacturing environments such as stamping, molding, plating, or machining.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, supplier management, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive change and accountability.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Role will be based in Mexico. Incumbent must be willing to relocate.
