Junior Architect (Interior Projects)

An interior design and build practice in Akshaynagar, Bangalore is hiring a Junior Architect – Interior Design with 0–1 year of experience. The role involves supporting interior design development, space planning, technical drawings, material selections, client presentations and site assessments across residential and commercial interior projects.

Key Responsibilities
Support the development of interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards and material palettes.
Prepare conceptual, schematic and detailed design drawings.
Assist with space planning based on project requirements and site conditions.
Conduct site assessments and document relevant site information.
Prepare and develop working drawings and technical documentation.
Support client presentations and communicate design concepts and material selections.
Understand client requirements and translate them into appropriate design solutions.
Incorporate client feedback and revisions into design proposals and drawings.
Research materials, finishes, modular design solutions and relevant design developments.
Prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualizations to support design presentations.
Coordinate with project teams and relevant stakeholders during design development.
Support the preparation and organization of project presentations and design documentation.
Requirements
B.Arch degree is mandatory.
0–1 year of relevant professional experience in architecture or interior design projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 2D drafting.
Working knowledge of Photoshop and MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of 3D and visualization tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion or Unreal Engine is an advantage.
Ability to read and prepare architectural and interior working drawings.
Understanding of materials, finishes, modular design and basic ergonomic principles.
Strong design presentation and communication skills.
Ability to understand client requirements and develop practical design solutions.
Portfolio demonstrating academic or professional design and presentation work.
Ability to manage multiple design tasks and incorporate project feedback.
Work Schedule:
Location: Akshayanagar, Bangalore
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm)
