Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Quality Analyst internship role for freshers and is an unpaid opportunity. The intern will support the quality assurance team by reviewing requirements, test cases, and product specifications to understand expected behavior. Day-to-day tasks include executing manual test cases, documenting defects, assisting in root cause analysis, and verifying fixes across web and mobile applications. The intern will help maintain quality-related documentation, collaborate with developers and project managers to clarify issues, and contribute to improving testing processes. This role offers exposure to industry-standard tools and practices in quality assurance and software testing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and evaluate product behavior.
Candidates should possess quality assurance and quality control skills to design, execute, and document test activities systematically.
Candidates should possess quality management awareness, including understanding of basic QA processes, standards, and continuous improvement practices.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills to report issues clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide concise documentation.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC) is beneficial.
Familiarity with bug tracking or project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and learn new tools quickly.
Relevant coursework or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
