Role Description The Asst. Manager Cosmetic Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing daily cosmetic manufacturing operations. This role includes planning and supervising production schedules, coordinating with R&D, quality control, and procurement teams, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and regulatory standards. The individual will monitor line performance, optimize resources, manage production staff, and troubleshoot issues related to equipment, materials, and processes to maintain consistent quality and output. They will support capacity planning, maintain accurate production documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency, cost control, and product quality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and timely reporting on production metrics, inventory status, and order fulfillment will be key aspects of the position.
Qualifications
Customer-facing and service-oriented skills, including strong Customer Service and comprehensive Product Knowledge to address internal and external stakeholder queries.
Team Leadership capabilities to supervise production staff, coordinate shifts, and foster a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
Basic Sales and commercial awareness to understand client requirements, production priorities, and cost implications in a manufacturing context.
Awareness of Retail Loss Prevention principles, inventory control, and material handling practices to minimize waste, damage, and losses.
Relevant experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing, with familiarity in batch processing, packaging lines, and quality standards.
Strong understanding of GMP, hygiene and safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in personal care or cosmetic production.
Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with proficiency in production-related software and basic MS Office tools.
Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
