Furniture Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Furniture Designer role based in Jaipur.
The Furniture Designer will be responsible for conceptualising and developing furniture designs that align with client requirements, functional needs, and aesthetic standards.
Daily tasks include creating sketches and 3D models, selecting materials and finishes, collaborating with carpentry teams and vendors, and ensuring designs are feasible for production.
The role involves coordinating with interior and product design professionals, preparing technical drawings and specifications, and reviewing prototypes for quality and usability.
The Furniture Designer will also support project timelines, maintain documentation, and contribute creative ideas that enhance the overall design portfolio.
Qualifications
Strong Furniture Design skills with the ability to create functional, aesthetically appealing concepts.
Hands-on understanding of Carpentry and Furniture construction methods to ensure practicality and durability.
Knowledge of Interior Design principles to integrate furniture seamlessly into different spaces and styles.
Experience in Product Design, including materials selection, ergonomics, and manufacturing constraints.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools) and hand-sketching.
Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design ideas clearly.
Relevant diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
Prior experience in furniture manufacturing or interior projects in a similar role is an advantage.
