Role Description The Maintenance Genset role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Harohalli Industrial Area.
The individual in this role will be responsible for routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of generator sets to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation.
Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled maintenance activities, diagnosing issues, conducting troubleshooting, and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs on genset equipment.
The role also involves maintaining accurate service records, monitoring performance parameters, and coordinating with supervisors or clients to plan maintenance windows and minimize downtime.
The Maintenance Genset professional will adhere to safety standards, follow manufacturer guidelines, and support continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance for generator sets and related systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling, inspection, and routine servicing of genset equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair, covering mechanical, electrical, and component-level repair work.
Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective actions.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
Hands-on experience working with diesel or gas generator sets, power systems, and related safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and capability to work independently or as part of a field maintenance team.
