Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to convert non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. The company focuses on revenue-first enzyme production for applications such as textiles and wastewater treatment, followed by high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials. Its proprietary technology is optimized for Indian biomass, enabling cost-efficient, scalable, and circular manufacturing processes. By valorizing farm residue, Cellumantra helps reduce crop-burning practices, lower import dependency, and support sustainable industrial growth. The team combines biotechnology, engineering, and business expertise to build a climate-positive, commercially viable bioeconomy solution.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for B/G, SBLC Providers / Experts Consultants as Co-Founder. The role involves identifying, structuring, and securing banking instruments such as bank guarantees (BG) and standby letters of credit (SBLC) to support project finance, capital expansion, and international trade transactions for the biorefinery platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with banks, financial institutions, and qualified counterparties; evaluating transaction structures and risk profiles; and advising the founding team on best practices for compliance, due diligence, and deal execution. The Co-Founder will collaborate closely with leadership to design innovative financing models, prepare documentation and term sheets, and ensure regulatory and legal alignment in relevant jurisdictions. This position requires proactive relationship-building, strategic input on long-term capital planning, and contribution to overall business development and investor engagement.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in banking instruments and trade finance, including BG, SBLC, LC, and related structured finance products.
Experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally with exposure to infrastructure, renewable energy, or biotechnology sectors.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors.
Knowledge of international compliance standards, KYC/AML requirements, and risk management in cross-border financial transactions.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to guarantees, credit enhancement instruments, and securitized funding structures.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills, with the ability to evaluate transaction viability and structure deals that balance risk and return.
Entrepreneurial mindset with readiness to function as a Co-Founder, including strategic thinking, ownership, and willingness to work in a startup environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
