Political Data Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Political Data Analyst role based in New Delhi. The Political Data Analyst will collect, clean, and analyze quantitative and qualitative political data from multiple sources, including surveys, electoral records, social media, and public datasets. Daily responsibilities include building datasets, running statistical analyses, developing models, and preparing visualizations to support political strategy and decision-making. The role involves producing concise reports, briefs, and presentations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights for clients and partners. The Political Data Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage project timelines, and maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with statistics, data modeling, and interpretation of political datasets.
Proficiency with data tools and software such as spreadsheets, statistical packages (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, or similar), and data visualization tools.
Ability to design and manage data collection processes, including surveys, polling, and data cleaning workflows.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of political systems, electoral processes, and public policy, particularly in the Indian context.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site in New Delhi.
Commitment to ethical data practices, confidentiality, and objective analysis free from discrimination or bias.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Political Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
