We are expanding our E-Commerce team in Gurgaon and are looking for a creative, energetic Content Writer / Script Writer to draft high-converting product content, engaging video scripts, and performance marketing copy for our spiritual product catalog.
Role Overview
As a Content & Script Writer for the E-Commerce division, you will bridge traditional faith and modern e-commerce storytelling. You will craft compelling product listings, social commerce ad scripts, UGC ad frameworks, and educational content for spiritual items like energised gemstones, Yantras, Rudraksha, temple Prasad, and sacred idols.
Key Responsibilities
Scriptwriting: Write engaging, high-converting video scripts for performance ads (Meta, YouTube, Google), UGC-style videos, reel formats, and product explainers.
E-Commerce Copywriting: Draft clear, persuasive product titles, descriptions, benefit highlights, and packaging copy for sacred and temple-blessed products on VAMA Mall.
Content Strategy & Research: Research Vedic rituals, gemstones, astrology, and spiritual significance of products to craft authentic, culturally accurate, and respectful copy.
Ad & Funnel Messaging: Collaborate with the performance marketing team to write ad headlines, hooks, call-to-actions (CTAs), and landing page copy to maximize conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, and product managers to align visuals with script flow and brand identity.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in Content Writing, Scriptwriting, Copywriting, or Digital Marketing. (Freshers with an exceptional portfolio/samples are encouraged to apply).
Education: Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Language Proficiency: Strong command over written and spoken English and Hindi. Understanding of regional languages/terms is a plus.
Domain Knowledge/Interest: Genuine interest or basic understanding of Indian culture, spirituality, astrology, or temple traditions.
Skillset:
Ability to write engaging video hooks (first 3 seconds) for short-form video content (Reels/Shorts/Ads).
Understanding of basic e-commerce and performance marketing concepts (CTAs, landing pages, consumer psychology).
Adaptability to write both creative narratives and structured, SEO-friendly product text.
