About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, track, and validate defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Conduct API testing and validate backend functionality where required.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and daily stand-ups in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Maintain test documentation, test reports, and QA metrics.
Ensure product releases meet defined quality standards.
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation.
Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
Support production issue analysis and root-cause identification.
Required Skills
Experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and software testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience in manual testing.
Good knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman.
Experience with SQL/database testing.
Familiarity with Jira or similar defect/project management tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
