Role Description The B2B - Sales Manager - Agency Health role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad or Rajkot Location. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving health insurance sales through agency channels, including recruiting, onboarding, and managing agency partners and intermediaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving sales targets, developing and executing B2B sales plans, monitoring performance of agency networks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves regular field visits, conducting training and engagement sessions for agency partners, and coordinating with internal teams such as underwriting, operations, and customer service to support business growth. The Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and provide timely reporting and forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in general or health insurance, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Hands-on experience managing agency channels, intermediaries, or distribution networks, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with partners and internal teams.
Good analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and translate insights into action plans.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
Comfort with on-site field work, including regular travel within the Ahmedabad region and nearby markets as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Knowledge of general insurance products and regulatory environment; prior exposure to health insurance products is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM or sales management tools.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive work culture.
