Role Description The Business Development Manager (Internship) role at OURA is a remote position focused on supporting the growth of the brand and its market reach. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and researching potential partners, distributors, and retail opportunities, and assisting in outreach to wellness, food, and lifestyle businesses. The intern will help develop and refine pitch materials, maintain prospect and partner databases, and support the tracking and reporting of key business development metrics. This role also involves collaborating with marketing and operations teams to align growth initiatives with brand values, assisting with online campaigns, and gathering market feedback to inform future strategies.
Qualifications
Strong business development, sales outreach, and relationship-building skills, with an interest in wellness, food, or consumer products.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify new partnership or distribution opportunities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of presentations, proposals, and professional emails.
Basic proficiency with CRM tools or spreadsheets for managing leads, tracking activities, and reporting progress.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Previous internship or project experience in business development, sales, or marketing is an advantage but not required.
Genuine interest in sustainable, organic, and wellness-focused brands and the ability to represent OURA’s values respectfully and professionally.
