We are looking for passionate and skilled Physics and Mathematics Faculty to join LifeX Merchant Navy, a growing education brand focused on IMU-CET and Merchant Navy entrance preparation.
The selected faculty will be responsible for teaching students preparing for IMU-CET and other relevant competitive examinations, with a strong focus on conceptual clarity, problem-solving and exam-oriented preparation.
Responsibilities
• Conduct engaging classroom and/or online classes for Physics or Mathematics.
• Teach concepts from Class 11 and 12 syllabus with a strong focus on IMU-CET requirements.
• Explain complex concepts in a simple, practical and student-friendly manner.
• Prepare and review notes, assignments, MCQs, practice questions and mock tests.
• Solve student doubts and provide individual academic guidance.
• Analyse student performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Help students develop effective problem-solving and examination strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest IMU-CET pattern, syllabus and previous-year questions.
• Collaborate with the academic and content team to improve learning material.
• Participate in academic activities, workshops and student mentorship sessions when required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics or a relevant field.
• Strong command of the subject.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly to students from different academic backgrounds.
• Prior teaching/coaching experience is preferred.
• Experience teaching IMU-CET, JEE or other competitive examinations will be an advantage.
• Experience in creating educational content, MCQs or study material is a plus.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent teaching ability may also apply.
