Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Design and manage databases, including MongoDB.
Develop responsive frontend features using React.js and Next.js.
Optimise APIs, applications, and database queries for speed and scalability.
Debug and resolve backend, frontend, API, and database-related issues.
Follow clean coding, security, testing, and development best practices.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Design, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
Participate across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Contribute to automation initiatives and explore opportunities to build AI-powered workflows and AI agents.
Must-Have Skills
3+ years of experience in Full Stack or Backend Development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
Good working knowledge of MongoDB, database design, and query optimisation.
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of React.js and Next.js.
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, application security, and error handling.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, API Gateway, or similar services.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Python for backend development, scripting, or automation.
Experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
Knowledge of Redis, message queues, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
Exposure to AI-powered applications and workflow automation.
Experience building or integrating AI Agents using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, or similar platforms.
Understanding of RAG, tool/function calling, vector databases, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI technologies.
Experience working on e-commerce or high-traffic customer-facing applications.
