About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Planner to lead brand strategy and planning across integrated marketing campaigns. The role requires a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, culture, market trends, and business objectives, along with the ability to translate insights into compelling communication strategies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic thinking across brands, leading client conversations, and working closely with creative, media, digital, social, and account management teams to develop impactful, insight-led campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Creative Strategy
· Develop strategic briefs and guide creative teams in translating insights into impactful ideas.
· Provide strategic direction across campaigns, digital, social, content, influencer, and other communication channels.
· Ensure consistency in brand thought and communication across multiple touchpoints.
· Evaluate creative ideas and campaigns from a strategic and consumer perspective.
Client & Stakeholder Management
· Lead strategic conversations and presentations with senior clients.
· Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and act as a strategic partner.
· Present clear, compelling, and data-backed recommendations.
· Understand client business challenges and proactively identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
· Lead and mentor planning teams, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and curiosity.
· Collaborate with Account Management, Creative, Media, Digital, Social, PR, and other specialist teams.
· Drive integrated thinking across functions and ensure seamless collaboration on projects.
· Review and elevate the quality of strategic outputs delivered by the team.
What We’re Looking For
· 4-5years of experience in Strategic Planning, Brand Strategy, Communication Planning, or a related role.
· Experience working in an advertising, digital, integrated marketing, or creative agency.
· Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, brand building, and integrated communication.
· Ability to develop strong insights and translate them into clear strategic direction.
· Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
· Strong client management and stakeholder management abilities.
· Experience managing and mentoring planning teams.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
· Strong business acumen with the ability to connect communication strategy to business objectives
