The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Leader to take on a strategic hunter role focused on BFSI IT Professional Services sales across India, APAC, and the Middle East. Based in Pune, you will drive growth by engaging with regional banks, insurers, asset managers, NBFCs, and Global Capability Centers, positioning AI-powered transformation services including Generative AI, intelligent automation, cloud transformation, data & analytics, and digital modernization solutions. This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to global leadership, a strong incentive structure, robust pre-sales support, and the opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programs with leading financial institutions.
What You'll Do
Drive new logo acquisition within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, GCCs, and FinTech ecosystems across India, APAC, and the Middle East
Engage with regional banks, insurers, asset managers, NBFCs, and Global Capability Centers to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Position and sell AI-powered transformation services including Generative AI, intelligent automation, cloud transformation, data & analytics, and digital modernization solutions
Manage large, complex IT services deals from origination through closure
Build and maintain executive-level stakeholder relationships with client organizations
Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to shape and win strategic opportunities
Represent the organization as a strategic partner to leading financial institutions across target markets
Requirements
15+ years of experience in Business Development / IT Professional Services sales
6+ years of work experience with BFSI
Proven track record in new logo acquisition within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, GCCs, and FinTech ecosystems
Strong BFSI domain understanding
Proven experience managing large, complex IT services deals
Executive-level stakeholder management skills
Exposure to AI/ML, cloud, analytics, and automation offerings
Experience working across India, APAC, and Middle East markets
