About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern at Horizon, you will work on the software behind our products.
You will build and maintain product features, APIs, backend services, and integrations. You will also work on systems that support AI agents, automation, and team productivity.
Your work may include:
• Writing and reviewing code
• Designing and building software features
• Working with APIs and databases
• Debugging and fixing issues
• Writing tests and improving existing code
• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Working with engineers and product team members to turn requirements into working software
Strong interns may receive a full-time Software Engineer offer (PPO) based on their performance during the internship.
What We're Looking For
• Pursuing a B.Tech, B.E., or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Graduating in 2027
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Strong programming fundamentals
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Comfortable programming in at least one language
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Able to read existing code, debug problems, and explain your approach clearly
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
• Interest in AI, automation, and productivity software is a plus
Internship Details
Role: Software Engineer Intern
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote
Stipend: ₹80,000 per month
Graduation Year: 2027
PPO: Available based on internship performance
