We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Portfolio Management System Migration Specialist to support one of our clients, a leading independent Multi Family Office and Asset Manager in the DACH region, with an upcoming system migration.
This is a hands-on operational assignment, not a pure project management or advisory role. Our client is looking for someone who can work directly with portfolio, transaction and accounting data throughout the migration.
Key responsibilities
Support parallel operation of the legacy and new portfolio management systems
Reconcile portfolio positions, transactions and accounting data across systems
Identify and resolve discrepancies and missing transactions
Perform manual bookings, corrections and data maintenance
Support migration of historical portfolio and transaction data
Validate and maintain securities master data and market prices
Create and maintain historical benchmarks
Support consolidated and model portfolio setup
Ensure reliable data for reporting, audits and post-migration analysis
What our client is looking for
Several years of hands-on experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Private Banking or securities operations
Strong knowledge of securities, trading, portfolio accounting and historical holdings
Practical experience with portfolio/investment management system migrations
Hands-on experience with transaction and position reconciliation
Experience with securities master data, price data and benchmarks
Willingness to perform manual bookings, data corrections, controls and reconciliation
A hands-on operational mindset rather than a purely PMO/advisory background
Strong advantage: Experience with ICOMPS and/or Expersoft. Comparable PMS experience is also highly relevant.
