Position: Edifecs Lead Developer/Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ / Remote
Work Arrangement: Remote; occasional travel may be required

Experience: 10+ years overall; 5+ years of healthcare EDI experience
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Edifecs Lead Developer/Analyst to lead development, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support for healthcare EDI integrations.
The role will involve working with HIPAA X12 transactions, Edifecs tools, SQL-based investigation, partner onboarding, compliance validation, batch monitoring, and issue resolution. Candidates should have strong experience working within payer/health-plan EDI environments.
Required / Must-Have Skills
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Edifecs products.
Experience with Edifecs XEngine, SpecBuilder, Transaction Manager, and/or Smart Trading.
Hands-on experience with HIPAA X12 transactions: 837, 835, 834, 270/271, 276/277, and 278.
Experience in EDI production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.
Experience with claims, enrollment, eligibility, and/or encounter workflows.
Experience working with healthcare payers / health-plan EDI environments.
Experience with EDI partner onboarding and compliance validation.
Ability to monitor EDI batches, transactions, and production processes.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial health plans.
Knowledge of XML, XSD, and EDI mapping/transformation.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience coordinating with offshore/onshore teams.
Experience in healthcare data analysis.
Additional experience in healthcare production support and incident management.
Experience with root-cause analysis and production issue resolution.
Key Requirements
Edifecs product experience is mandatory.
Candidates should have experience in payer/health-plan EDI environments.
Generic EDI development experience without healthcare/Edifecs exposure would not be suitable.
Work authorization must be valid for at least 12 months.
Remote role with occasional travel as required.
