Vice President of US Sales (Remote)

About the Role
This role is a pivotal sales leadership position responsible for spearheading the company's entry and growth in the US market. As the sole US-based representative, you will maintain existing relationships, generate new business, and act as the essential link between US customers and the parent company. This opportunity allows you to shape and build the US sales strategy from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Own all US sales activity, managing the full sales cycle as an individual contributor.
Identify, prospect, and close new accounts within target verticals such as quick service restaurants and grocery chains.
Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with North American logistics partners.
Conduct regular cold calling and outbound prospecting.
Travel to visit new and prospective customers, aiming to find additional opportunities on-site.
Process purchase orders and route them correctly through internal channels.
Travel to Mexico City early in the role to understand plant operations firsthand.
Complete initial training and onboarding with the outgoing team member.
Participate in weekly check-in calls with the team.
Minimum Requirements
2-3 years of relevant B2B sales experience.
Strong track record of proactive prospecting and outbound sales.
Proven ability to close new business.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with technology and Excel.
Comfortable working autonomously as a one-person team.
Ability to adapt quickly as priorities and processes evolve.
Track record of commitment rather than frequent job changes.
Industry background is flexible; strong B2B sales experience from any industry is acceptable.
Must not be subject to a non-compete that would restrict this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with POS systems, thermal receipts, retail, or quick service restaurants.
Work Environment
Location: United States — ideally Southern border/Texas, but open to candidates anywhere in the US (mid-US to South preferred).
Must be able to support existing Northern accounts.
Travel: Roughly 2 trips per quarter to visit customers and an early-tenure trip to Mexico City.
