Job Summary
Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (4 10-hour shifts)
Rate of Pay: $26 - $30
The Screen Press Operator is responsible for independently operating a screen-printing press, performing routine maintenance, and producing high-quality printed products that meet established production standards and customer specifications.
Set up, operate, and break down manual or automatic screen-printing presses.
Load screens, inks, substrates, and materials according to job specifications.
Align screens and ensure accurate registration, color matching, and ink coverage.
Monitor press operation during production runs and adjust as needed.
Inspect printed products for quality, defects, and consistency.
Maintain ink viscosity, color accuracy, and print standards throughout runs.
Perform routine press cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Follow job tickets and production schedules to meet deadlines.
Assist with reclaiming screens and general shop tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Critical Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Printing or screen press experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow job instructions and production tickets.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
