Job Summary
Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)
The Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains production machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficiency and quality.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs as directed.
Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Critical Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards in a production setting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
