THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to build and maintain high-performance mobile and web applications used across enterprise operations. You'll own features from architecture and implementation through deployment and production support while collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop scalable Flutter applications for iOS, Android, and Web
Own features end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
Build complex user interfaces, state management, API integrations, and data-driven features
Implement offline-first capabilities with local storage and synchronization
Develop advanced file management workflows, including uploads, downloads, caching, permissions, and retry mechanisms
Integrate REST APIs, authentication, push notifications, analytics, and monitoring solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across multiple platforms
Optimize application performance, startup time, rendering, memory usage, and network efficiency
Write unit, widget, and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience developing production Flutter applications
Proven experience shipping and maintaining Flutter applications on iOS, Android, and Web
Deep understanding of Flutter internals, widget lifecycle, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization
Technical Skills
Flutter & Dart
State Management (BLoC, Cubit, Riverpod, Provider)
Local Persistence (SQLite, Drift, Isar, Hive)
Offline synchronization, conflict resolution, and retry strategies
File uploads, downloads, caching, permissions, and cross-platform file handling
REST APIs, JSON serialization, authentication, and networking
Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar scalable application architecture
Unit testing, widget testing, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Crash reporting, monitoring, and production debugging
Strong analytical and root-cause troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have
Firebase or other cloud platform experience
Background processing and synchronization
Native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development experience
Enterprise-scale application development
Technical leadership or mentoring experience
COMPENSATION & WORK TERMS
Salary: SGD 900–1,500/month (paid monthly)
Location: Fully Remote (ASEAN)
Working Hours: Full-Time
Contract Type: Service Contract / Independent Contractor (not permanent employment under local labor regulations)
Benefits: Standard leave entitlement provided. No festive bonus. No tax deductions (contractor is responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations).
