Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interventional Cardiologist based at Apex Hospitals in Udaipur. The Interventional Cardiologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including catheter-based interventions, in the cath lab and associated clinical settings. Daily responsibilities include evaluating patients with cardiovascular conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, planning interventional strategies, and providing evidence-based medical management before and after procedures. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in emergency cardiac care, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The Interventional Cardiologist will also engage in patient and family counseling, documentation, and participation in continuing medical education activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Medicine and Cardiology.
Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Cath Lab procedures and Interventional techniques.
Candidates should possess advanced clinical competencies in Interventional Cardiology, including diagnostic and therapeutic catheter-based interventions.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Cardiology (DM/DNB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a cardiologist in India.
Demonstrated ability to work in high-acuity settings, manage cardiac emergencies, and make timely clinical decisions.
Strong communication skills, team collaboration capabilities, and commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
Experience in a NABH-accredited or similar high-quality hospital environment is an advantage.
