Role Description The Software Developer role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and web-based solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with team members on project requirements and architecture. The Software Developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and ensure solutions align with current industry standards and best practices. The role may also involve mentoring interns or junior developers, supporting continuous improvement of development processes, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable digital solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver maintainable, efficient solutions.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, team-oriented environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with web technologies, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices is a plus.
