Role Description The Software Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support both learning initiatives and client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implementing back-end services and APIs, and collaborating with team members to refine requirements and architecture. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and optimize application performance and reliability. The role also involves contributing to project planning, following best practices in software engineering, and staying current with relevant tools, frameworks, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-quality applications.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts to design scalable and maintainable systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment, with strong communication and time-management skills.
Experience with modern development tools, testing practices, and cloud or deployment platforms is an advantage.
