About the Role
Location: Pune/Bangalore/Chennai Data Engineer: Experience: 7 - 11 years (but need expert Engineers)- Databricks Certification mandatory: Strong hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory, with expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
Strong hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory, with expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
Strong experience in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, performance optimisation, and data governance.
Ability to assess existing implementations and proactively propose Databricks-based solutions, improvements, accelerators, and best practices.
Provide technical recommendations around Databricks architecture, performance, scalability, cost optimisation, security, and governance.
Ability to perform technical design and solution discussions with customer architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
Expected to demonstrate technical thought leadership, challenge existing approaches where required, and recommend better solutions rather than only implementing provided requirements.
Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environment, managing priorities while maintaining engineering quality.
Qualifications
Experience: 7 - 11 years (but need expert Engineers).
Databricks certification is mandatory.
Advanced Databricks certifications and relevant Cloud certifications would be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on Databricks experience.
Strong experience in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, performance optimisation, and data governance.
Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, SQL, databases, and data modelling.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Advanced Databricks certifications.
Relevant Cloud certifications.
