Vice President of Investment Strategy

Role Description This full-time, remote Vice President of Investment Strategy role at Nova Infra Invest is responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy across infrastructure-focused portfolios. The individual will design and refine investment frameworks, evaluate new opportunities, and oversee portfolio construction to align with the organization’s risk-return objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and sector analysis, leading due diligence on prospective investments, and preparing investment memos and recommendations for the investment committee. The role involves close collaboration with finance, operations, and external partners to execute transactions, monitor portfolio performance, and adjust strategies based on market developments. The Vice President will also mentor team members, enhance analytical tools and processes, and contribute to strategic planning and fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of managing institutional or infrastructure-focused portfolios.
Robust Finance skills, including financial modeling, valuation, risk analysis, and familiarity with capital markets.
Demonstrated experience in Due Diligence, including qualitative and quantitative assessment of assets, sponsors, and market conditions.
Proficiency in developing and implementing Investment Strategies that align with organizational objectives and risk guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or professional designation (CFA, CAIA) is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.
Experience working in or with remote teams, with strong self-management, collaboration, and time management capabilities.
Familiarity with infrastructure sectors and long-term asset strategies is highly beneficial.
