Vice President of Fintech Innovation

Role Description The Vice President of Fintech Innovation at Nova Infra Invest is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and leading the company’s fintech innovation strategy. This role oversees the identification, evaluation, and deployment of new financial technologies and digital solutions that support infrastructure investments and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing market trends, guiding research initiatives, managing innovation-focused projects, and cultivating strategic partnerships with fintech providers, financial institutions, and technology firms. The Vice President collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and pilot new products, optimize existing platforms, and ensure regulatory and risk considerations are integrated into innovation efforts. This role also involves presenting recommendations to executive leadership, setting measurable goals for innovation programs, and mentoring team members to build a strong innovation culture.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial, market, and technology data and translate insights into actionable innovation initiatives.
Proven experience in strategic planning and setting long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and risk frameworks.
Demonstrated project management capabilities to lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver fintech projects from concept to implementation.
Experience building and maintaining strategic partnerships with fintech companies, financial institutions, regulators, and technology vendors.
Advanced research skills for evaluating emerging fintech trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes.
Extensive leadership experience in financial services, fintech, or related sectors, with a track record of driving digital transformation and innovation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex ideas to executive audiences and influence decision-making.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, collaboration, and digital communication skills.
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology Management, or a related field preferred; relevant bachelor’s degree required.
Familiarity with infrastructure investment, digital platforms, data security, and regulatory compliance within the financial sector is an advantage.
