Role Description The Electrical Engineering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Palera. This position involves designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical systems for projects in renewable energy and related fields. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical diagrams, conducting site assessments, performing load calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. The specialist will troubleshoot electrical issues, support installation and maintenance activities, and collaborate with project teams to plan and execute technical work. The role also includes documenting technical findings, communicating project updates to stakeholders, and guiding junior team members on best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and practical understanding of Electricity.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including schematics, layouts, and system configuration.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for diagnostics, problem-solving, and performance optimization.
Effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and relevant regulations.
Experience with renewable energy or solar power systems (Suryamitra or similar training is an advantage).
Ability to work on-site in Palera, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
