Role Description In this full-time remote Insurance Claims role at Mitra, the team member will support end-to-end claims processing for various insurance products. Responsibilities include reviewing policy details, collecting and validating documentation, coordinating with insurers and internal stakeholders, and tracking claims from initiation to settlement. The role involves clearly explaining coverage terms, claim status, and next steps to customers while maintaining accurate records and complying with regulatory and company standards. The Insurance Claims professional will also identify process improvements, escalate complex cases when required, and contribute to a customer-centric claims experience.
Qualifications
Strong claims-focused insurance expertise, including Claims Management, Claims Handling, and working knowledge of Insurance products.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills to review documentation, interpret policy terms, and make sound, data-informed decisions.
Effective Communication abilities to explain complex information clearly, manage expectations, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with digital tools or claims management systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple cases, and meet turnaround times.
Prior experience in insurance claims or related operations is preferred; familiarity with Indian insurance regulations is beneficial.
Relevant academic background in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is an advantage.
