Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Structural Engineer role based in Sonepur. The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil and structural components for infrastructure projects such as roads, pipelines, railways, and buildings, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications. Daily tasks include performing structural analysis, preparing design calculations and drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and supporting construction activities with technical guidance. The role also involves monitoring project progress, participating in site inspections, resolving engineering issues, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering skills, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.
Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis skills for preparing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and track project activities and deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; advanced degree is an advantage.
Experience in EPC or infrastructure projects (roads, pipelines, railways, buildings) is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with engineering design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, AutoCAD) and MS Office tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety and quality.
Ability to work on-site in Sonepur and conduct field visits, inspections, and coordination with site teams.
