About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, network-driven Business Development Manager with deep roots in Artist Management and Talent Sourcing. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our artist marketplace—leveraging your direct industry contacts to pitch, sell, and onboard singers, DJs, live bands, celebrity performers, and talent agencies onto LuxeVenue's annual subscription plans.
Key Responsibilities
Subscription Sales & Monetization: Pitch and close LuxeVenue’s SaaS subscription plans, premium listing packages, and featured placements to artists, performers, and talent managers.
Network Utilization: Leverage your existing direct contacts with artists and entertainment agencies to rapidly expand our platform's talent roster.
End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the onboarding workflow, including artist profile setup, portfolio verification, transparent pricing structures, and technical/hospitality rider documentation.
Target & Revenue Ownership: Take complete ownership of monthly and quarterly artist subscription sales targets, package upgrades, and annual plan renewals.
Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with onboarded artists, serving as their primary account manager and ensuring prompt profile performance updates.
Sales Desk Alignment: Work closely with our internal MICE and Social Sales teams to match onboarded artists with live corporate galas, luxury weddings, and private events.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven track record in Artist Management, Talent Sourcing, or B2B/B2C Sales within the event and entertainment industry.
Direct Network: Strong, verifiable direct contacts with artists, music bands, DJs, celebrity managers, and talent booking agencies.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to pitch subscription products, handle objections, negotiate terms, and close monetized contracts.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of performance riders, technical sound/stage requirements, artist contracts, and GST/TDS tax norms.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of client-facing negotiation.
