Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of modern websites and web applications. This role will work closely with designers, product teams, and other developers to build responsive, user-friendly, and reliable web experiences.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of web development fundamentals and is comfortable learning new technologies. This is a strong opportunity for an entry-level developer who wants to build practical experience across front-end and basic back-end development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
Write clean, organized, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement website features based on business and technical requirements.
Build responsive layouts that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Collaborate with designers to translate UI designs into functional web pages.
Integrate websites with APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and application-related issues.
Test websites and applications across different browsers and devices.
Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
Maintain and improve existing websites and web applications.
Assist with website updates, enhancements, and content changes.
Follow development standards, coding practices, and version-control procedures.
Use Git or similar tools to manage source code and development changes.
Assist with basic database or back-end development tasks when required.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Document development work, changes, and troubleshooting solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field preferred.
Previous web development experience, internships, academic projects, or personal projects are a plus.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Basic understanding of responsive web design principles.
Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and web technologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React, Vue.js, Angular, or another modern JavaScript framework.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Basic knowledge of Node.js, PHP, Python, or another server-side technology.
Experience working with SQL or relational databases.
Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Understanding of website accessibility and basic SEO practices.
Knowledge of web performance optimization.
Portfolio, GitHub projects, or other examples of web development work.
