Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry to support daily data-entry, record maintenance, document processing, and administrative activities. This position is responsible for entering, updating, organizing, and verifying information across company systems and databases while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, and digital records and can manage repetitive tasks efficiently. Previous data-entry, clerical, administrative, or customer support experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update information accurately in company databases and systems.
Review source documents and verify information before entering data.
Identify and correct basic data errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
Maintain accurate digital records, spreadsheets, and tracking logs.
Process forms, documents, and other information according to established procedures.
Organize and maintain electronic files and folders.
Perform routine data-quality and accuracy checks.
Transfer information between systems and databases when required.
Retrieve and update records as requested by authorized team members.
Maintain organized records of completed data-entry activities.
Assist with scanning, uploading, and categorizing digital documents.
Follow established data-entry, privacy, and document-management procedures.
Meet assigned productivity and accuracy targets.
Report unusual discrepancies or missing information to the appropriate team.
Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks.
Maintain confidentiality when handling company or customer information.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous data-entry, clerical, administrative, or office experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good typing and computer skills.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Word, or Google Sheets.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned workloads.
Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with database or information-management systems.
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or document-management platforms.
Experience using spreadsheets for data tracking and reporting.
Basic knowledge of data-quality and verification procedures.
Previous remote data-entry or administrative experience.
