Role Description
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and features that power Remolity’s remote job platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing APIs, integrating data sources, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role involves reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to technical documentation and architecture discussions. This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication, self-management, and regular collaboration across distributed teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-quality applications.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including API design, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles to design robust, maintainable systems.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and basic security best practices is a plus.
