Job Overview
We are seeking a Front-End Developer to build the team web application and admin console for a new internal AI platform. You will implement in React and TypeScript from a completed design system, working closely with the AI Engineer who owns the backend. This is a four-month engagement. This position is with a USA- and Canada-based employer and is open to qualified candidates working remotely from outside North America.

Ideal Candidate
You are a front-end developer who builds clean, dependable interfaces and follows a design system faithfully. You are comfortable working against a live API that is being built alongside you, and you raise questions early rather than guessing. You write maintainable code that another engineer can take over cleanly at the end of the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Application Build
Implement the team web application in React and TypeScript from the design system.
Build chat and voice interfaces, task views and deadline views.
Build document review screens and approval queues.
Admin Console
Build the administrative console for configuration, approvals and reporting.
Implement role-aware navigation so users only see what their permissions allow.
Build dashboards for reporting and usage visibility.
Integration and Quality
Integrate the front end with backend APIs as they become available.
Write component tests and maintain code quality standards.
Participate in continuous integration and code review.
Documentation and Handover
Document components and overall application structure.
Hand over a feature-complete, maintainable codebase at the end of the engagement.
Support the AI Engineer through the transition to ongoing maintenance.
Technical Skills
Skill Sets Required / Preferred
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
Experience building complex, state-heavy interfaces such as dashboards, queues and review tools.
Working with REST APIs, authentication flows and role-based access in the user interface.
Modern front-end tooling, component testing and version control with Git.
Experience with real-time or streaming interfaces such as chat is preferred.
Soft Skills
Clear, proactive written communication across time zones.
Disciplined about following a design system rather than improvising.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Self-directed and reliable on a fixed timeline.
Experience & Education
Four or more years of professional front-end development experience.
Demonstrated React and TypeScript work in production applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
