Role Overview--
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to lead a team of software engineers and drive the architecture,
development, and delivery of scalable SaaS platforms. An expert engineer who will thrive under product
development environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SaaS product development, scalable web applications, cloud
technologies, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and AI-enabled development, along with the ability to mentor
engineers and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Technically lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
● Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS platforms.
● Own technical architecture, system design, and key engineering decisions.
● Work hands-on with React, Python, Java, REST APIs, databases, ETL pipelines, and AWS.
● Effectively use AI-powered coding assistants to improve developer productivity, code quality, and
development speed.
● Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML and Generative AI to enhance customer experience, automate
processes, and improve operational efficiency.
● Proactively identify and build AI-enabled features and enhancements that create measurable business
value.
● Design scalable web applications, APIs, data services, and integrations.
● Drive coding standards, code reviews, testing, performance, security, and engineering best practices.
● Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
● Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Data, Business, and external technology teams.
● Take ownership of technical initiatives from design through production.
Required Skills & Experience
● 7–8 years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership.
● Proven experience building and delivering SaaS platforms/products in any domain.
● Strong knowledge of React, Python, Java, REST APIs, AWS, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL/data
pipelines.
● Strong understanding of system design, scalable web architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed
systems.
● Experience with cloud-based application development and CI/CD.
● Familiarity with AI coding assistants and modern AI development tools.
● Strong understanding of practical opportunities to use AI/GenAI to improve products, customer experience,
and operational efficiency.
● BE Computer Science or equivalent.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to mentor engineers and make sound technical decisions.
