OpenShift Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior OpenShift / Kubernetes Platform Engineer with 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering experience and strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift in production.
This is a senior, independent role focused on designing, building, automating, securing and operating an enterprise container platform. A strong Kubernetes Engineer could also fit if they can quickly transfer their knowledge to OpenShift.
What you will do:
Take technical ownership of the OpenShift platform
Build and operate OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters
Design platform architecture, networking, storage, security and scaling
Automate infrastructure and deployments using IaC and GitOps
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Ensure platform monitoring, observability and reliability
Work with OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, Prometheus, Grafana, Linux and Bash
Support migrations to Kubernetes/OpenShift
Mentor internal Platform/DevOps teams and provide knowledge transfer
Requirements:
5+ years of DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering experience
Strong hands-on Red Hat OpenShift production experience
Strong Kubernetes knowledge
Experience with GitOps / IaC, ideally ArgoCD, Terraform and/or Ansible
CI/CD experience
Linux administration and Bash/scripting
Monitoring & observability experience
Ability to work independently and take technical ownership
Swedish and English communication skills
Nice to have:
RHCSA, RHCE or OpenShift certifications
Istio / Service Mesh, OVN-Kubernetes, ODF or ACM
Java/backend development knowledge
Experience in public-sector or security-classified environments
Experience with technical workshops or training
