DWH Platform Engineer (43939)

We are looking for two experienced DWH Platform Engineers / SQL Server DBAs to support and further develop an established on-premise Data Warehouse platform. You will take responsibility for platform stability, availability and performance, working hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS, ETL processes, database deployments, performance tuning, PowerShell and SQL scripting. The role also includes backup and recovery, access management and 2nd/3rd level support in a fully remote international environment.

Responsibility for the stability, availability and performance of the DWH environment
Microsoft SQL Server and SSAS administration
Monitoring and troubleshooting of ETL processes
Database deployments, performance tuning and optimization
PowerShell and SQL scripting
Backup and recovery processes
Permission and access management
2nd/3rd level support and coordination of operational processes
Fully remote cooperation with structured onboarding at the beginning of the assignment
🎯 Skills
Several years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator, DWH Platform Engineer or in a similar role
Strong Microsoft SQL Server administration skills
SQL Server performance optimization and tuning
Hands-on experience with SSAS
Experience with operation and management of ETL processes
PowerShell and SQL scripting
Experience with database deployments
Experience with SQL Server performance analysis tools
High Availability solutions, ideally SQL Server Always On
Ability to independently take operational responsibility
Structured and solution-oriented working approach
English C1 and German C1
