🚨 Hiring | Data Architect – Azure & Databricks (Contract)
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect / Data Platform Solution Architect for a 6-month C2H opportunity with one of our esteemed client who are into enterprise technology environment.
📍 Location: Pune / Trivandrum

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Design and define enterprise-scale data platform architecture from ingestion to consumption.
Assess existing platforms and develop target-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.
Provide hands-on architectural guidance to data engineering teams.
Design data flows, integration patterns and data governance frameworks.
Support data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
Identify architectural risks, dependencies and technical trade-offs.
Work closely with engineering, business, governance and technology stakeholders.
🔑 Required Skills
12+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
4–5+ years in Solution Architect / Data Architect / Platform Architect roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform.
Strong experience in Azure Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog.
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines and data modelling.
Strong Python & SQL skills.
Experience with data governance, lineage, data quality, CDC/SCD and migration architecture.
Experience with Azure cloud architecture, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code is preferred.
👤 Ideal Candidate
Someone who is a hands-on working architect, capable of quickly understanding an existing data platform, making architectural decisions and working closely with senior engineering teams to drive delivery.
