Insurance Agent

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Insurance Agent. The Insurance Agent will support clients by assessing their coverage needs, explaining policy options, and recommending suitable insurance products. Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, following up on leads, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience. The Insurance Agent will also stay current with industry developments and company offerings to provide informed guidance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to effectively promote and manage insurance products.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Finance to advise clients on appropriate coverage and financial implications.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and clear support to clients.
Candidates should possess effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term client relationships.
Candidates should possess solid organizational, time management, and documentation skills to handle multiple client accounts and maintain compliance.
Relevant licensing or certification as an Insurance Agent (where required by jurisdiction) is preferred.
Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a related client-facing role is beneficial.
Comfort with remote work tools, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment are important.
