Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting Paresha’s HR and recruitment solutions to prospective and existing clients. Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and working closely with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, provide input on service offerings, and regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics. This position requires proactive outreach, consistent follow-ups, and a strong focus on meeting revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within HR services, consulting, or related professional services.
Strong skills in client relationship building, networking, and stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.
Ability to conduct market research, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans to expand business in target sectors and regions.
Competence in preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and negotiating commercial terms to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.
Solid organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, with a focus on follow-through and meeting deadlines.
Comfort with using CRM tools, productivity software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace), and digital communication platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, travel locally as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional HR and operations teams.
